All of our class of 58 were there. We visited and reviewed our joys and disappoint- ments of high school days. Carolyn Magorian always had her heart set on taking an office management course and someday being manager of some renouned business. She spent lots of study hall time gazing into the blue yonder, and dreaming of a bright future. She told me she is quite successful in her chosen profession. She is a trick parachute jumper with a thrill show touring the United States and abroad. Her husband is a pilot with Pan American Airways They probably take to air like ducks to water. I suppose everyone thought Charles Fiedler would settle down to be a local garageman. He fooled everyone. Class questions were no problem to him. He would turn on that engaging smile and talk, never on the subject. He is now the Instructor of Mass Athlet- ics to Kindergarten in one of the western states. He has withstood the wiles of matri- mony admirably. Joyce Dobyns told me that she went on to school after graduation. She always talked of being a Lady Senator or perhaps even the first Lady President of United States. She is a successful Brain Specialist at the Mayo Clinic. She apparently has many admirers, but favors none. Paul Carlisle is a popular T. V. ventriloquist. He has several dummies working for him. His theme song was one of the top ten popular tunes in the spring of 1958 - Dancing with my Shadow I suppose you wonder just what I am doing. In school I tried my best to make the teach- ers believe what they didn't. I was seller and tenor with Victor and His Victory Trumpeters Band. To me that Bachelorhood looks good. That reunion was good! Think I'll attend another year. Charles Wilkinson. CLASS WILL We, the class of 1958 of Selma High School, of Van Buren County, of the State of Iowa, of the United States of America, which is located in the Northern part of the Western Hemisphere of the planet, Earth, which is fifth from the largest and fourth from the smallest among those planets which revolve around the Sun in this solar system, being in full possession of our mental faculties and at peace with all mankind, do hereby solemnly make and publish this our last Will and Testament. We hereby revoke and make null and void all other Wills and Testaments by us heretofore made. All our earthly and unearthly property, real or unreal, personal or impersonal, mixed or compound, stolen or bought, begged, borrowed or stolen, of which we shall be seized or possessed, or to which we shall be entitled at the time of our deceaseg all such property designated by us we do hereby give, devise, bequeath, consign, confer, bestow, yeild, surrender, impart, and dispose of in the following manner to-vvit: The seats in the assembly, which we have held for the past year, we now deliver to the juniors. There are not enough seats to go around, but the teachers will, before the next year passes, give each a chance to try one of them--namely: the back one. The good records and grades made by this class during the last few months, we now be- queath to the juniors, being well aware of their dire need. We also leave to the high school classes of 1959 our basketball coach, Charley Kunzman-- with our sympathy. To Gary Blackburn, Paul Carlisle leaves an abundance of chewing gum. It is of excellent quality and lasting flavor. His purpose in leaving it to a sophomore, in preference to a junior, is to alleviate that embarrassing and unsanitary necessity next year, of changing hands, or rather mouths. The aforesaid gum will be found in Mr. Kunzman's room cling- ing firmly to the underside of the fourth chair in the first row. Chuck Fiedler wills his big beautiful eyes to Kenney Golden. Carolyn Magorian wills her ability as a typist to Jeri Hayden. Charles Wilkinson wills his neatness and popularity to Donald Dage. Joyce Dobyns wills her tallness to Linda Greenfield. I The foregoing gifts, bequests, and ill-gotten gains have we this willingly and cheerfully disposed of, knowing that we could not take them into the vast beyond. fr Z a - Signed: 97x u 6 55Z Mrmfaaf JWJAAA BQ I9 'S' K S Y I ?x 'bv K 0 4, Juniors u nd Sophomores Dick Martha Jeri Lea Leona Babes Gardner Hayden Je rrel Keith Karen Madden Lambert Gary Donald Clinton Sharon Blackburn Dage Crosier Lewis Patty Nancy Gary Jeanette M6170 alf POOS Smith Lorton Judy Jim Karen Tedrow Waugh Wilkinson Grades 8 and 9 w Darlene Raymond Wesley Marie Mike Lloyd Cone Dage Dage Fie dle r Gardne 1' Lanman l 7 Sandra Billy Floyd Glenn Carol Donald Lewi s Metc alf Spilrnan Tedrow Vande griff Waugh Gary Willis Betty Canaday Cox Fiedler J Lmio r Lillian Kenneth Linda E sthe r Garrels Garrett Golden Greenfield Laughlin B arb ara Mari an Dennis Bill Gene Lile s Madden Schmidt Waugh Wilburn W AKXMX V xN 'f 'x S QM- A 'Liv M 'r Mills, XXxxxxxxm1Il y I I N 9 NX Grade 7 E dward Connie Ve rna Loyal Abernathy Blackburn Dage Fulton Pamela U James Loomis MPS- Magoman McKim Larry G I' u d e 6 Ronald Bickford Hesse Mabel Geraldine Judy Juanita Laughlin Lewis Madden Metc alf Ronald Janet Neil Rita Sp rouse Waugh Vandegriff Wilkinson Grade 5 Tom Eddie Neala Tom Jimior Baker Bates Kaye Gardner Garrett Eddy Roselea Lu Anne Connie Linda Knuzman Ogles Schmidt Waugh Mrs .
