Senior Closs Poem We, the graduates of '54 As we launch out from this shore, Bid our schoolmates and teachers good-bye, With perhaps a suppressed tear or sigh. For we shall hold many memories dear, of the friends made during each year. To this school of Selma High We shall be known as alumni. And to us these halls of fame Will never seem quite the same, As when here we worked and played, While many facts were learned and weighed. The motto, Quality not Quantity , Ours in the present and future shall be. We are few in quantity. There are only five of us you see. Just Steve and Ritzanria on the alert With Mary Jo, Vivian, and Robert. But no matter how much work needs done, Each task we'll try to do and not shun, That our life and work may never fade From the best in quality and grade. And to you readers we say this one thing more, We wish you the best of everything in store. fby Vivian Oliver CLASS MOTTO Quality not Quantity CLASS COLORS Green and White CLASS FLOWER White Carnation 10
