It won't come off my hand! At the conference meet Ray Taylor placed 2nd in the shot put, with a throw of 43 feet 11 inches and tied the school record of 44 feet. Also, he placed 4th in disc with a throw of 113 feet 6 inches. Ted Bryant placed 1st in the 440 dash, with a 52 second run. In the mile relay, Ted Bryant, Frankie P arrish, Kenneth Revels, and Larry Sullivan placed 1st. In the 880 relay, Ted Bryant, Harold Lee, Kenneth Revels, Ervin Bailey, placed 2nd.
