Sixth grade students are remaining in the high school building. Unlike previous years, the seventh and eighth grades have a home room in which teachers come to them, with the exception of home economics and industrial arts classes in which the students themselves pass to class. A typing room. a visual aid room, and a sound-proof music room are the main changes that have taken place this year. The visual aid room serves as a miscellaneous room, where motion pictures are shown and committee meetings are held. The faculty is enjoying a much needed lunch room this year. The students eat in the study hall and in classrooms. In 1953-1954 the home economics and industrial arts departments were ex- panded. A house on the property adjoining the school was remodeled to form the home economics department, with five kitchen units. A room in the rear of ,lim Goins' Texaco Service Station serves as the industrial arts department.
