Feb. 17. The Seniors received the'r play. called Professor Pep. It looks very interesting. Feb. 22. A good-looking lot of Sen'ors made quite a hit in Parker. They were on business, however. Feb. 27. Miss Kennedy came to the school in the evening and chose the cast for the Senior play. Mar. 1. The Seniors ordered their inv'ta- tions. Mar. 2, 3, 4 The Tournament at New- castle. XX'e frightened the Muncie boys: however. we lost the game to them. Mar. 9. The S. H. S. gave a Cantata. Mrs. Clippenger was the director. Mar. 10. XYe had an inter-class tourney and the Sophomores won. much to the displeasure of the Seniors, Mar. 15. The Seniors went to a party at the home of Miss Barley. XVe had quite a time. pulling taffy. Mark I-. trying to start Sophomore boys seeking aid in Latin from go down to the an argument. Maurice Slaughter, especially on Mon- days. Bullock, of Selma. refereed the glade games. while Friar, of Farmland, made de- cisions in the high school games. The Senior team-mates extend their k'nd regards to the other members of the team in appreciation of their team work in all the games. They hope hat the next year's Calendar Sept. 12. School started. Two new Senior students enrolled-Mildred Russel! and Ralph Lewis. Sept. 10. Seniors elected class officials. Sept. 20. Mrs. Clippenger gave us our lirst music lesson. Sept. 21. Seniors ordered class rings. Sept. 26. Got our new moving picture ma- chine: it works iine. Sept. 30. Attended our nrst movie. Oct. S. A Senior party at Gene Pickzird's. Had a wonderful time. Oct. 17. Organized an athletic association. Also, it was the birthday of Grace Ly- kins and the Seniors surprised her in the evening. Had a line time. Oct. 20. A masquerade party at Mary Thornburg's. Oct. 22. A Sophomore hailowe'e11 party at Delbert Thornburg's country residence. Uninvited guests entertained them- selves by tearing up vehicles. Oct. 26. Seniors got their class rings and they are certainly proud of them. Oct. 28. Mildred Swanders entvrtainecl the Freshmen class. 1'-'mor l7!'t?SllIl1Cll - the spooks tore up their party. Oct. 29. Senior party at the home of Kenneth Sipe. a former student of Selma. Had a tine time. Nov. 14. The boiler got something wr- ng with it and we had a week's vacation while it was being tixed. Nov. 28. The juniors and guests enjoyed a Thanksgiving party at the gym- niasium. Nov. 30. Sophoniores had a Thanksgiving party at Frances Greenwalfs. XVho lost their shoes? Dec. 14. Seniors surprised Mr. Elabarger. He was certainly surprised, too. NVe had a most wonderful time. Dec. 19. junior party at Mark Livings- ton's. A world of fun. Dec. 20. juniors had a surprise on Juanita Ruble at the home of Mary Thorn- burg. Dec 22-23. Evaminations. Dec. 24. Seniors had a Xmas party at the home of Agnes Jones. A wonderful time, indeed. 11. Seniors had their pictures taken at Mr. Littlet0n's studio. lan. 13. Our basket ball defeat by Eaton, and the .luniors served some oyster soup. Oh, you soup! Ian. 24. Mr. Xeher caught some girls dancing, so we cannot play the piano any mere, Oh. shoot! lan. 27. The Freshmen have a party at the home of Cleo Cline. However, it was more largely attended by the boy s. lan. 30. Gertrude Smith started her post course at S. H. S vlan. Feb. 7. The llible students got ten per cent taken off of their deportment for being so noisy one day when Mr. Rar- ick was not there, Feb. 10. The Seniors sent for their play. They are very anxious to receive it. l'eb, 13. The Seniors sent the lirst install- ment of the Annual to press. Stem very happy. Feb. 14. Received S55 in return for sub- scriptiou for getting a moving picture machine two years ago. l'eb. lo Some Seniors made a business trip to the metropolis of Desoto. Had an enjoyable time.
