However, the record does not indicate how much work the boys put in trying. One of the high points of the season was the 7-6 victory over previously unbeaten Upper Moreland, twice Bux-Mont Champs. But on the sad side of the ledger was the 27-7 loss to Quakertown on Turkey Day. Our touchdown, scored by Lefty Crouthamel, was the first scored against Quakertown in eighr years. is-1' Q . ui' 'ir A ll kj 'hu ., i f ' ,K ' ' 1. .- 9 gf ' Pia 544915 ,K aw t ' ' ,-vas: 1 f s 1 .E-A If q 6- sf' 75 LA,-. 31- .NOCLW fait. , X 5512: it tt- 'MQQ Mg' g Front rou R Crouthamel N Leatherman J Scheetz C Rexchley fCaptJ E Rufe D Magargal P I-Iunsberger 2nd rou P McClennen S Fox N Thomas E Schoellkopf H Czernes M Chrxst Mlss Yeakel Coach Sptrxt and determmatlon was the theme of the hockey squad th1s year and lf was carrled through to brmg home a second place standmg for the season The team s record was three wms one loss and two tres whtch IS qutte an tmprovement over last year Although seven of the startmg lme up wtll graduate th1s sprtng Coach Anne Yeakel w1ll be left wtth many expertenced players eagerly wattrng to prove thetr hockey abtllty next year The Sentor sttckers on the team were Captatn Clatre Retchley L1z Rufe joan Scheetz DOIIS Magargal Paulette Hunsberger Nancy Leatherman and Rosemary Crouthamel HOCKEY SCHEDULE Alumm Hatfield Quakertown 0 151 ou Landts P Cressman j Fretz S Weber B Graver -Atl: mu S Mtller W Frou! mu A Dxeroff A Levus M Thomas Welrback L Mann J Fusco D Crouthamel Fargo P McClennen S fox N Andrews D Upper Moreland 2 Souderton Doylestown Lansdale and rou D Graham M Mrller L Crouthamel 3rd ron NI Landrs Underkofiler E Tolan A Keller E Kerber M Grove M Crouthamel L Crouthamel N Burk mu E Brenetsen J Wtmmer A Tolan B Orr I Schuster S Nate R Fusco J V Observers 'QV' , lv-951 - fa Af, 01 , 4' 'W I' ill 1 r ' , - . . . v, I T 5 pc, ew i l' 4 E .4 'll ,-gl 1' l Q yy .ll ,Z yt, Z Y Y- A Q 5 . y l Mig llff, A 'Wx ll ll K ng, ff 3 I s-P 0 T s.P 1 ' 2 S-P 1 1 T S,p 3 1 S-P 2 1 S-P 2 S-P 1 1 'r'-M.
