Among their achievements were a gay Christmas Dance, several bake sales, and the potato chip salesmen at the basketball games. Spring arrived, and they sponsored the annual IuniorfSenior Prom. They proved to be a friendly and ambitious group and held bake sles, fulfilled their traditional duty by holding the Spring dance, and placed members in the forensic contests, in athletics, and in musical events. On the following pages are depicted and illustrated the many activities of our school and the individuals who participated in them. Unmentioned are many other activities which have displayed the unselfishness of the faculty and students. To mention a few, there is the annual magazine drive the school conducted to earn money to buy badly needed items. The money raised by the students and faculty by this method is a saving to the community. There is also the annual Welfare Drive conducted in behalf of tive charities and the participation of the band in local parades. These activities and those on the following pages show the active spirit prevailing at Selinsgrove High School and the initiative and responsibility accepted by the student body and faculty in attempts to formulate worthwhile projects. l CYNOSUIQF CHIEF STAFF Left to Right--L.
