SENIOR CLASS HISTORY Twelve earnest Seniors began school in September 1952 with a realization that this was our last year. These students were as fellows; Dora DeAlva, Rae Dee Banks, Sonny Casaus, Bill Dalby, Phil -ravo Marvin Fuller, Mary Nelson, Glenn Olson, Canda Salas and Les- lie Torres. We welcomed two new additions to our class, Doris Bris- tow from Prescott High School and Thomas Peterson from Mesa High T-hool. At our organization meeting Thomas Peterson was elected our president, Glenn Olson and Doris Bristow our class representatives. Our faculty sponsor for four years has been Mr.Morris Montgomery. The first activity was that of raising funds and a nice prof- it was made on a beautiful cedar chest. The proceeds are to be used for our annual Ditch Day. At the Christmas vacation we lost Bill Dalby who moved back to Pennsylvania where he re-entered the Schenley High School. Dora De Alva became Mrs.Manuel Rincon early in the year, but she will be present for graduation. Leslie Torres beckoned to a call from Uncle Sam and is now in training at Ft.Lewis, Washington; he will receive his diploma in May. Bill, Glenn, Pete, Phil, Leslie, Sonny and Marvin were valued members of the foot-ball squad. Glenn, Marvin, Phil and Sonny repeat- ed as members of the basket-ball team. Dora and Canda were two of the four cheerleaders, Doris and Rae Dee the two top majorettes. We all enjoyed the annual trip to Kingman for the Senior pictures for the hall placque and La Sierra. We are now planning our Ditch Day at Lake Mead. Three big events to come are the Junior-Senior Prom, our Class Night and then Graduation exercises. We the Seniors of 1953, wish to thank our principal, teachers for helping to make it possible for us to march down the aisle.
