Board of Directors Members of the Board of Directors have given freely of their time and energy for the improvement of the Selah Schools. Mr. J. Ben Johnson is senior member of the board having served for the past fifteen years. Six of those years were in the capacity of chairman. Mr. James Fletcher was elected to the hoard in 1948. He has represented his district continuously since that time. Mrs. Dorothy Schlagel, East Selah housewife, was appointed to fill the un- expired term of Mr. Lloyd Dodd. The following year she was elected to a new term. Mr. Leon Olberg, Mr. Selwyn Justice Mr. James Fletcher, Mr. J. Ben Johnson, Mrs. Dorothy Schlagel. Mr. Olherg and Mr. Justice are pic- tured as they check for information in one of the office files. Mr. Olberg, only returning member of the board, has served for years. His experience will he a valuable asset to the new board. Mr. Selwyn Justice completed the term of Mr. Gilbert Peck and was twice elected to new terms. He, like the others, some- how found time to attend the many meet- ings required of school board directors.
