Business Education Association Annual Typing Contest. Congratulations to JENNY STRAUGHEN who was 1 of 5 top typing finalists in the Western Washington Business Education Association Annual Typing Contest. PAUL EICHENBERGER was a Place finisher for State Track and he was a Place Finisher for State Cross Country. Congratulations to LIZ ALLISON and ANDRIA GIBBONS who were winners of a week scholarship at Fort Worden for Future: the Year 2000. To JANET BONEY, LISA GIBB, AND GREGG THIEL who also were winners of aweek scholarship at Fort Worden. Special thanks to KATHERINE DICKINSON Editor of the Literary Magazine and to YVONNE PULLAR who did the Art Work for the Magazine. Congratulations to DANA GREEN and JAN JOHNSTON who performed exceptionally well in Badminton. Congratulations to LEO DAY 101 First in State Wrestling. Congratulations to MURRY TWEIT Captain of the Baseball Team and who made All Conference and All Conference in Football in both Offense and Defense. JOEY PITALO made All Conference in Offensive Football while ORIE BARRON All Conference Defensive Football. Special thanks to DICK MOELROY for being an outstanding Manager for the Football Team. BILL BRYANT and KONSTANTIN MISCHOIKOW did an exceptionally fine job in the field of Forensics. PAM CROW and SKY RICHENDRFER. were honored by being accepted into the All Northwest Choir. Special thanks to PHOEBE RINERT for the success in the Junior Prom. Congratulations to SKY RICHENDRFER. for Boy of the Month for March. Congratulations to the gymnastics team for lst in State and for the third time around. And special Honors to LINDA FISHER who took first in the All Around State Gymnastics Tournament. Outstanding Seniors who performed well also included: AUDREY FORTHUN, LISA HALBERT, and SUE MOREAU all three Girl of the Month and DAN BURCH, ERIC ERICSSON, and LORNE JACOBSON Boy of the Month.
