Erase Kvuntry The Sehome Cross Country Team showed reat effort and team spirit in their extraor- inary season. The Sehome runners placed .xth at the Conference meet, later improv- ig by placing second at the district meet. Lesides these two honors, the team was able J show their talent by placing twenty-sixth t state. Steve Hovde, voted as team cap- ain and most inspirational participant, 'laced sixth at a post-season invitational neet at Highline Junior College. Although the season was not successful by won-lost standards, the team did improve over last year and with a few more timely breaks the team could have easily made it to the District Playoffs. Kim Arnason was the only indi- vidual player on the Mariner squad to receive special honors for outstanding play. He was voted to the All-Conference first team.
