Our one conference loss came against Superior We entered the State Play-offs with a 6-1 conference record. The 1986 Volleyball team had another fun year of learning. No surprise wins or losses- our conference record was 4 and 4. We ran into some problems at the end of the season which hindered us at tournaments. Most of our starting varsity players will be back next season with some good young players to back them up. Three of our starting varsity players received second team all conference honors. She is the first girl to be selected from Seeley-Swan for international competi- tion. Boys State Delegates Randy Johnson and Matt Cooper Two Junior boys are selected from interested applicants The pur- pose of Boys State is to develope knowledge of all levels of government It is sponsored by the American Legion and is held during the summer for one week on the campus of West- ern Montana College Tina Kitras was awarded the Montana University System Hon- or Scholarship for the highest GPA of the Senior class. She received $765 towards her tuition. MTI 1985 Summer Camp: Jeff Jette, Colleen McNally, Amy Hahn. Matt Cooper Rainbow Connection deals with finding alternatives to substance use and abuse. The goals are to have fun and develop awareness of existing social problems. Membership is a privilege reserved for students who care and are willing to contribute their time, energy, and skills. Montana Teenage Institute (MTI) holds summer camps for teens from high schools throughout Montana. Selection for camp is based on interest, desire to be involved, and willingness to carry on the Rainbow Connection program.
