Back-Left to Right- Olga Bergset, Lori Wilhelm. The 1976 Girls' Basketball team played to a 6-8 regular season record, and a fourth place finish in the conference race. Considered a rebuilding year, the girls promptly earned the respect of coaches, opponents, and fans. At the Divisional Tournament, the girls won their first game against Drum- mond, before falling to a powerful Phillipsburg team. The girls defeated Flo- rence in the third game. Playing for third and fourth place honors, the girls lost an exciting overtime game to the Corvallis Blue Devils.
