The football team achieved many firsts this year for our school: third place in conference play, we beat Darby and Eureka for the first time, and placed four boys on the all-conference first place team. Our defensive unit this year was outstanding. In four games it limited the opponents to six points. In no game this year were we ever completely dominated except for the fourth quarter in the Mission game. All other games were not over until the last play of the game, and our team never quit. 12
