Butler, M. Mello For some it was a first, for others it was not a new experience. It was, however, an exciting time for all. The date was June 10, 1988. The place was Cran- ston Hospitality center. The time was the class of 1989's Junior Prom. From the beginning, whether you arrived in a limo or dad’s car, there was a sense of uncertainty. Being in a tuxedo or formal dress was a first for many. In time, everyone forgot their uncertainty and concentrated on having a crowning of the queen, to the last dance, juniors and or their dates escorts could be seen having one of the best times of their junior year. It was obvious that by the end of the night everyone was looking forward to doing it again in their senior year. Studley’s: S. Smith, J. Ray, C. Martin, T. Mooney, R. Kulaga, L. Palazzi, M. Mello, P. 14 SENIOR SUPPER It was a night we will never forget — but some of us will never remember! Our Senior Supper was held on November 10, 1988 at the Top of the | Court. From dancing and eating to the traditional smoking of cigars, we made memories we would treasure in future years. We were also given the chance to look back into the past when Mr. Hurley presented our 8th grade Camping Trip Slide Show. It was a night for us to be with our friends we had made over the past twelve years, and talk to those we did not “‘known”’ since Jr. High. We danced to the beats of a wild variety of music played by special guest D.J. from 92 PRO FM; Big John Bina. Some people were psyched when he played ‘It Takes Two”’ for the second time; others were glad to hear the Cure. Everyone’s tastes were satisfied. Aside from the dancing, other activities stole the scene: like the bath- room scandal and our free use of the ‘‘soda’”’ bar. But for the most part, we behaved just like Seniors should and we made the faculty happy. All in all, we had a great time. It was one of our last chances to be together as a class and to create some very special moments. None of us will forget the Dirty Dancing impressions, the interesting buffet (with everybody's favorite ziti’s), the smell of cigars, or simply the fun we had those four hours. Let’s, hope that our futures are as special as these past four years. GOOD LUCK, CLASS OF S9ll! | am a stud Dance Fever Eeeeewwwww!
