Butler, M. Mello For some it was a first, for others it was not a new experience. It was, however, an exciting time for all. The date was June 10, 1988. The place was Cran- ston Hospitality center. The time was the class of 1989's Junior Prom. From the beginning, whether you arrived in a limo or dad’s car, there was a sense of uncertainty. Being in a tuxedo or formal dress was a first for many. In time, everyone forgot their uncertainty and concentrated on having a crowning of the queen, to the last dance, juniors and or their dates escorts could be seen having one of the best times of their junior year.
