Heaven The class of 1986 had long awaited their Junior Prom. Many of us had been guests but never had been to our own prom. The wait was well worth it. The night of our Junior Prom will be remembered fondly by all. Our prom was held at the Sheraton in Mansfield and our theme song was HEAVEN. It was very strange to see our whole class dressed in gowns and tuxedos, rather than their casual style of dress. For the majority of the girls the first item on the agenda was a trip to the ladies room. Here everyone complimented each other and retouched their own makeup. Once everyone had settled down at their assigned tables, couple pictures were taken by numbers. Soon after pictures, our delicious dinner arrived which everyone loved. After dinner, we once again began to dance to the beat of the music. Next was the picking of the queen and her court, while the class of 1986 danced to their theme song. The waiters and waitresses were assigned to the tough task of picking these girls. Kerri Holmes was crowned queen while Elisa Warren. Mara Ferreira. Michelle Marek. and Jen McKenzie were honored members of her court. As the night came to a close, we all collected favors and left the Sheraton with a great memory of our junior prom.
