REFLECTIONS SKEKONK H.S. YEARBOOK A Letter from the Editor During the production of this book, many unique and interesting aspects of design were incorporated to please you, the reader. I am sincere when I say this for there was no sug- gestion made that was not followed by the ques- tion, “Do you think everyone will like it?” Yet, sure as lam that there is in here something for everyone, I am equally positive that nothing could have been accomplished without the as- sistance of people not usually associated with a yearbook. It is with this in mind that I offer my honest thanks both to the custodial staff for always being there when, often at the last sec- ond, help was needed, and to the administra- tion who not only arranged all the necessary functions such as a twice-taken senior picture but also endured my constant nagging. To all involved I present my heartfelt appreciation. On amore personal note, when this is read, it will be the end of another year of school, signifi- cant in itself for underclassmen but far more so for seniors who have to face leaving all their classmates for good. I am not talking about school now as a place of education, I am speak- ing rather of its function as a social organizer, drawing everyone together to dine Cif so formal a word may be used in reference to what we do in the lunchroom), to gossip, and to enjoy the company of friends we might not be able to see that often after school anymore. Ready as we are to leave high school itself, though, we needn't ever leave the people, for this book will always be around to keep the memories alive for you, even if you are unable to keep im touch with far away friends yourself.
