Lynn, tSupt.D, George Penner. Cl'rineipalJ. lt has been the purpose of the staff to carry out the desires of the student body, that of getting a book emphasizing quality rather than quantity. Maximum in quality and minimum of expense has been the slogan. lt is hoped that the book will be one that every one interested in S. H. S. can afford to buy and cannot afford to be without. liinphasis has been placed on pictures that represent school affairs interesting to all. If the book serves the purpose we have for it, it will be a pleasant reminder of the friends and affairs that have had to do with the school year 1923.

RED AND VVHITE 3 Sedgwick High The Sedgwick High School building which also takes care of the grades was erected in 1911. Much credit is due to the pupils for the excellent condition of the property after the eleven years of service. The School is ranked as a Class A school by the State Board of Education, employing seven teachers. The College Preparatory, Normal Training, and General courses are offered. The enrollment is quite steady with a few less than one hundred students. Board of Education Left to Right A. L. TEAR Mas. Nr:1.1.r: Comms L. S. CONGDON Director Treasurer Clerk Mr. Tear is an old teacher but has spent the last few years in busi- ness in Sedgwick. At present he is connected with the Sedgwick State Bank. Mrs. Coble graduated from the Sedgwick High School in 1898. She lives on a farm near Sedgwick, is very active in community work and always has the interest of her Alma Mater at heart Mr. Congdou graduated from the Sedgwick High School in 1905. Lisle is one of the best business men of this part of the state. He is at present manager of the Alfalfa Mills at Sedgwick. They also do an extensive business in handling seeds.
