CURTIS KEENY was the up-and-coming dentist in southeast Kansas and was now making a set o teeth for the last of his eight high school teachers. GARY ELAM was coach of a new Communit High School located near the Elk-Chautauqua county line and it was befing rumored that only one coach in history had ever rivaled his popularit , that being Knute Rockne. MARY MARTIN was assistant to the registrar at Emporia State College. IDRENE MYERS was in Dallas, Texas, where she conducted schools or high school cheerleaders durin ten months of each year.
