STUDENT COUNCIL The student council is a group of students elected by their classmates to assist the faculty in working for the betterment of the school. The council has made great headway this year, especially with the directing of fire drills and regulating of traffic in the halls, and has also inaugurated a student patrol program. NATIONAL HONOR SOCIETY The Sigma Eta Gamma Chapter of the National Honor Society was established to help encourage and improve scholarship, as well as to give helpful, satisfactory service to the school. The four important qualities of scholarship, leadership, character, and service are the worthwhile and necessary requirements of the society. The yearly project of the National Honor Society for the past few years has been to sponsor the school annual.
