Coach Pat Welch began his first year of coaching at Sebewaing with a successful season. Sebewaing was running to Elkton for the N. T. C. C. championship. The season started with a victory over Bay City Central Reserves. Even though Sebewaing scored the first touch- down against Elkton, the champions, the Indians weakened in the third quarter to permit the Elks to win the game. The Pigeon game was played in a torrential downpour with the field com- pletely covered with water. Our web- foot boys swam to a 33 to 0 victory. The climax of the season was the game with our arch-rivals--Union- ville. Although we scored the first T. D. and extra point and Eagles tied up the game. When the final whistle blew the score was still 7-7. We finished the season by battering Ubly and Bay City Handy Reserves. SCHEDULE Sebewaing 7 B.C.
