In September of 1952, sixty-six nervous freshmen entered Sebewaing High School. As freshmen our sponsors were Mrs. Mount and Mr. Colestock. At our first class meeting we elected as Pres- ident, Carol Kuhlg Vice-President, Charles Dutcherg Secretar , Duane Rie- meng Treasurer, Rodney 'IYruemnerg and Verneda Nitz and Warren Beers as Stu- dent Representatives. The big event of the year was the hay ride which we sponsored. Comin back as Sophomores in 53, we found tlgiat our membership had risen to sixty-nine. At our first sophomore class meeting, we elected with the help of our sponsors, Mrs. Lobert and Mr. Liken, the follow- ing officers: Tom Tanton, Presidentg Warren Beers, Vice-President, Judy DR. JOHN RITSEMA '7 Bollstter, Secretary, Mildred Irion, Treasurerg and as Student Represen- tatives, Sharon Lovelace and Rodney Truemner. The biggest event of that year was the Sophomore Dance which was enjoyed by everyone. The next year, as juniors, we elected with the help of our sponsors, Mrs. Terrill and Mr. Wenzel, the fol- lowin officers: President, Ron Beitzg Vice-igresident, Mildred Irion: Secre- tary, Sharon Lovelaceg Treasurer, Rora Matthews and Judy Bollstetter and Jerry Eremia as Student Representatives.
