amor Blass H1 tory Heap big pow wow at S H S September 7 l95O' All freshmen were sent smoke signals to come Forty heap good Indians came At the first council meeting, with the help of our chief, Mr olestock, we chose Donna Manmel as President, Wally Rieman as Vice President, Verma Zimmer as Secretary, Robert Neuman as Treasurer, and Dorothy Scheck and Gerald Schmidt as Student Representatives The highlight of the year wa the Valent1ne's Dance, which we sponsored When we returned for our sophomore year we numbered forty three braves At the fir t big pow wow, the head council was composed of Ray Bauer, President, Sall, Yunoinger, Vice President, Marylyn Gaeth, Sec retary, and Jo ey Linen and Jer ld Schmidt as Student Representatives Our chiefs were mr Liken and Mrs Potter The main event of the year was the dance that we sponsored during the harvest moon in Novemter Yeturning for our junior year, our head chiefs were Mr Worden and Miss Hanks Our council was composed of President, Gerald Schmidt Vice President,Dorothy Scheck Secretary, Sue Jeffery Treasurer, Sally Kundihger, and Norma Zimmer and Dale Heberly, Student Representatives O r main productions were the play, Bandits for Breadfast', o December 3, and the Junior and Senior Banquet and Prom on May 29 Coming back for our final year on September 9 l953 with forty one braves and maidens, our head consuls were Miss Villiams and Mr Gardner The chief council was composed of Charles Satow as President, Donna Nammel as Vice President, Sally Kundinger as Secretary, Norma Representatives During the first seme ter we planned to go to Washington D C for our senior trip To obtain sufficient funds for this trip, we planned various activities Some of these were selling Christmas and all oc casion cards,bracelets, refreshments at various 8EHl8tlC events througr out the year, and the annual Senior Ca nival on November 13 The high light of the evening wa the crowrlng of the King and Queen, Don Beers and Sharon Fogle Je journeyed to Owerdale on December 1, for the annual Senior Ca reer Day The purpose of this day was to help the seniors to decide upon the career they wished to pursue after graduation Vany colleges and various occupations we e well represented Upon graduat on, we will part, probably never to be together again as a class Some will go directly to jobs or the armed forces, while others will go on to college Into whatever field each and every one of us will go, I am sure we will succeed from our verv fine guidance during our high school years Ye wish to thank thlS years sponsors, Miss -illlams and Mr Gard ner for their help ln making our senior year a successful one We wish all the luck and success to the future se ior classes Sharon Fogle Compliments of rAQf1RS A D UEQCHAWTS STATE BAYK m O I ' v Q a g o O' ,l ' 0 6 . 0 L , L I - A . - .
