While the program specifically prepares men and women for successful careers in the business world, the transcendent responsibility of preparing them for life pervades the thorough and integrated curriculum which helps develop both morally and professionally business students at Seattle University. Philosophy and theology are included in the program designed to produce men of careful and correct decision, based on recognition of the relationship between God and man. Seattle University’s School of Commerce and Finance, the second largest school of business in the Pacific Northwest, was organized in 1945 with an enrollment of 25 students and two faculty members.
