Nancy Christiansen L , f This. year's business club was totally revamped from that of last year. As a result, a great majority of the time was spent organizing club structure and increas- ing membership. Under advisor Jack Lattin, the mem- bers worked on structuring the organization so that it would continue to grow. and function efficiently in fol- lowing years. e e Thepurpose of the club isto give members practical experience in leadership and personal relationships, g stated Doug Olds. This is accomplished through a vari- ety of activities like the February 6th tour of the Boeing plant 8 a spaghetti feed for members. In addition, the clubisponsored area businessmen as speakers to keep members in touch with opportunities and developments inthe business community. Long-range goals include increasing activities and lmembership and eventuallybecoming a member of Al- phafkappa Si, a professional business fraternity.

Seattle Pa- cific University is a member of the Christian College Con- sortium based in Washington D.C. This program includes a Washington D.C. quarter and exchanges with other schools across the nation. If you think you're life is at the end at SPU. don't kill yourself. go on consortium! The Multi-Ethnic Student Association CMESAJ is an organization designed to bring ethnic students together. Each year MESA holds a special chapel honoring the late Martin Luther King Jr., and each year this group of students strive to enlarge and grow with Seattle Pacific's ever in- creasing ethnic population. MESA mem- bers want to stress that this organization is open to all SPU students who wish to assist in their goal of bringing together the whole community of the Seattle Pacific University campus.
