Trek, an annual tradition at SPU, was different this year. The students were asked to dress as tacky tourists. Some even managed to come as total bums. In fact, some of the people who returned from Bainbridge Island on the Love Ferry were later discovered to be some resident degenerates of Bainbridge and had to be returned. The festivities on the island included a steak din- ner. music from two different bands, and rides on a 32 foot sailboat.
