For the second year in a row, the women placed second in the nation championship race in the AIA Division Il. The men also fin- ished the season on a winning note by taking first place honors in the British Columbia Junior Men's championship race. Both teams, being very young and competitive. are looking forward to a good season next year. Top women run- ners are Lauri Shansby, Gail Volk and Missy Nelson. Albert Reimer. Les Groom. Terry Hodge and Marty Clapp were tops for the men.

Where their only regret is the first five minutes after the alarm screams. What gives these crew members their drive to row on? One crew member Dale Ray said, rowing your guts out and beating the opponent gives me the satisfaction for all those hard practices. Of course no practice goes without good fellowship with fellow teammates.
