School of Religion Dr. Frank Kline-Dean Dr. Joseph Davis and professors Talmage Wilson and Alice Reid. The School of Religion emphasizes the need for balanced study in scholastic and theological disciplines and its practical application. We have a Christian mission and must share the living presence of Eternal God. The graduate program offers a MA in religion. Adding to the possibility for more thorough preparation on the undergraduate level is the double major: study is done in the area of Missions, Biblical Literature, or Christian Education, and one in an additional area of emphasis. Dr. Frank Kline, founder-president of Union Biblical Seminary, Yeomal, Ma- harashtra, India, is Dean of the School. He has authored Rozchi Bhakti, v. 1 lDaily Worship in Marathil, edited v. ll and III, and made contributions to various other publications. Teaching on the graduate level are Dr. Ralph Turnbull and Rabbai Corson. Professor E. Walter Helsel and Mrs Leona Fear Dr. Elvis Cochrane

Professor Hugh Salisbury Chrkhon Educohon The Christian Education Department of- fers undergraduate training both in theory and practical experience. Good News Clubs, Sunday Schools, and various other activities increased the skill of this year's fifty majors. Professor Hugh Salisbury, head of the de- partment, is also chairman of the Greater Seattle Sunday School Association and representative of the David C. Cook Pub- lishing Company. He has authored A Guide to Effective Bible Teaching and lectured in numerous conferences. Phhosophy Dr. Raymond Wells and, left, Dr. Walter Johnson. The philosophy professors have contributed to many colloquia this past year. Mr. Walter Johnson, depart- ment head, has worked with and written for the Pic- torial Dictionary ofthe Bible, a word study in transla- tions from the original Greek and Hebrew. Dr. Ray- mond Wells, newly incorporated as a professor, has taken part in the American Philosophers Association.
