' 'w 5, Freshm on Bosketboll The Frosh Basketball team of 67-68 established the best win-loss record in the history of the SPC Frosh basketball by finishing the season with 18 wins, 5 losses, and 1 tie. After a slow start before Christmas, the Frosh met Western Washington at Bellingham in the game which became the turning point of the season. They began using their poten- tial as a team and scored a 61-56 victory over the WW JV's. The Frosh were led in scoring by Tim Abhold and Ed Fields who averaged 13.9 and 13.5 points per game. Jim Hilliard and Ed Brown also averaged in double figures. Leading in rebounds were Joe Perry averaging 11.5 rebounds per game and Jim Hilliard who averaged 10 rebounds per game. De- fensively, Don Haderli and Tim Abhold led. Coach Lorin Miller was very happy with this year's Frosh. With approximately half the team planning to turn out for varsity next year, SPC can expect an outstanding team. Front: Ed Brown, Don Gustafson, Don Haderli, and Bob Plaisance.
