Each day at combined chapel services, Dr. Boyd addressed students. Then on Monday evening he conducted an infor- mal questionwlnd-answer period in the dorms. Autumn fpzifzltwzl Empbmzk lflfiffek By presenting Christian ideals designed to cope with student questions, Dr. David Mc- Kenna aroused the interest of students in chapel services in the college church. Being a college student in recent years and currently president of Spring Arbor College, he was well able to understand the needs of students and to suggest a practical approach to current collegiate problems. Dr. McKenna helped in- dividuals iind the answer to personal questions by counseling them during the week. His fer- vent approach and attitude generated enthusi- asm and realization in Christian students for their need to get involved in reaching the non-Christian world today. Only by giving of one's self to this task can the needs of mod- ern society be met. I L , la- ' , E.

Harry Denman, layman and retired Executive Director of Evangelism for the Methodist Church. His love and concern for individuals was dis- played by his appeal for students to commit their lives to a Person and not to a teaching or to a way of life. F5 f
