,L..- ? Truth becomes reality by your own experience and involve ment in it. Someone can explain something to you and you may grasp the overall idea of what they are saying, but until the idea, theory or whatever becomes real to you, it isn't really true for you. A teacher in a geometry class may explain how a problem is worked out, but until the student works out the problem on his own, he doesn't fully grasp how it is worked. People may have explained to you about Jesus Christ dying for your sins, but until you, yourself, grasp the idea that Jesus did literally die-dead for YOU, it is just a lot of meaningless humdrum, or a nice idea but . . . when you do grasp the idea and realize what it means to you -then whatg ah, this! Then the idea is real to you, it isn't just someones idea any more- it is true and by your own experience you find it to be so. 2 A senior walks up to receive his diploma and the truth of his four years of work becomes a vivid, tangible reality. A college graduate begins a job and as she works, the truth of what he learned in college becomes real to him. A high school senior pours over a college catalog and develops an idea of what college life will be like-truth comes the first week on campus. An architect draws a blueprint- then it becomes a bridge across San Francisco Bay. The original idea may have to be modified somewhat by events, but the truth of the idea, its core, will become real, just as the greatest Truth became the greatest Reality when The Word became flesh and dwelt among us, full of grace and truth . . .
