VJVIZW Bazrkeibfzlf- Wet! Com! Cbazmpr Sporting an overall record of 22 wins and 7 losses, the 1964-65 Falcons go on record as the most triumphant team in Seattle PaciF1c's hoop history. This remarkable record is the result of an outstanding team effort. S.P.C. got off to a tremendous start with eleven straight wins! During a temporary mid-season slump, packed houses at the new Seattle Sports Arena saw the Falcons defeated in thrilling clashes against highly rated Seattle Uni- versity and Montana State. A revived Falcon team proceeded on another winning streak that awarded them a place in the West Coast Eliminations Tournament. In the S.P.C. hosted event the Falcons vanquished San Francisco State with such storybook basketball that in the last half the team hit 757: of the shots they attempted. In the second game Seattle Pacific easily downed Fresno State, thus winning the West Coast Divi- sional title! This year,s team was the first representative of the school to ever take part in the NCAA Small College National Title Tournament! Head coach Les Habegger and coach Roland Halle are to be congratu- lated not only for the fine job of coaching the team but also for the smooth handling of the post season tournament hosted by S.P.C.
