PVEIZJEWI C DOW Demvzmy Seattle Pacific College has a glorious past. The school year 1965-66 will be our Diamond lubilee, in which year we will take stock of the philosophy of Christian higher education as represented by our college. A film is being pre- pared, Environment of the Campus, which will convey in story form for this 75th anniversary year some of the deeper meanings of excellent education on a Christian campus. Our publications will attempt to interpret to the public the image which is ours. The Student Council and many of our student leaders have participated in the planning for this celebration. Special events such as Convocation, Founders, Day, Commencement, will be keyed to emphasize this significant land- mark. Most of all, we will be looking into the future surveying the long-range needs of the college-physical and spir- itual and intellectual. Plans are under way to meet our space needs for classrooms, administrative of-Hoes, auditorium, science facilities, etc. More important still, curriculum needs are being studied to help us meet the challenge of a new day. You may be assured Christ and the Word of Cod are placed central in all of the planning for Seattle Pacific College. We depend upon our students now, as in the past, to interpret Christ to a needy world. C. DORR DEMARAY President 8
