One of SPC's most polished musical groups is the A Cappella choir, directed by Professor Philip Mack. Members are selected following auditions during the first few days of Fall quarter. Aside from those who are in the choir, few people realize the fantastic amount of work which goes into each perfonnance of the A Cappella. Prof. Maclcs musical proteges have oppor- tunities to demonstrate their accomplisments nearly every week at various types of civic and church functions. The highlight of the year, though, was the annual spring choir tour which gave groups from more remote areas an opportunity to hear the A Cappella members while they were on vacation. Perhaps the most outstanding characteristic of this group and quite possibly the key to their success is the unity which the members have felt all year long. Certainly this spirit of friendly cooperation, combined with a dedication to Christian service, has made the A Cappella Choir a worthy representative of SPC.
