SCHOOL THAm WE LOVE Vislon became reality On September 7, 1946, classes began at the Seattle Christian School, situated ln Ravenna Boulevard Church Two teachers taught the eighteen pupils, ranglng from grades one to s1x Parents, who for two years had earnestly prayed that their chlldren might have a Ghr1st1an educatlon, now regolced at God's falthfulnes By the end of that first vear the enrollment reached forty two During its second year, two churches were requlred to house the school, whlch now inclxded the flrst nine grades By 1948, with an enrollment of 152 students, more ade quate DTGm1q8S were necessary One week be- fore school opened God provlded our present location, the government buildlng at Mlchigan ers nd 184 ouplls in the first ten grades These four fears h ve b en good wears wears of snir1tua1, as well as physical, growth, years of fellowshlp with fr1ends we love, years of study and fun under Chrlstian leadorshln We are thankful for our school and we prav that her students n1ght ever b ing honor to the name of Jesus Chrlst our Lord. ,L I , 0 . - . . .
