JUNIOR CLASS PLAY The Junior Class Play was presented April Sth. The nemo of it was nThe Tangled Yarnu CA comedy in three acts! The story of the play was about Camilla Page, her cousin, Vivian Pago, and their friend, Cora Blake, who shared an apartment and food, when they had it. Their situation had become very desperate until Alex Lawton called to inform them that Camilla had won a 35,000 award offered by his magazine for the ideal mother. Camilla had borrowed a costume and wig from Sadie Stringer, who lived upstairs, and has sent in the picture of herself as the Nidcal mothoru, together with a pathetic history of a de- serted wife who struggled to raise her children, Camilla, Cora, Vivian, Stuart, and nP1nckneyU, who died a hero in the war. Stuart Brand, like the other two girls, thought that Camilla's yarn was all right until itxbecamo seriously tangled. His mother arrived to toll him that he wasn't going to get his allowance since he was claiming Camilla as his mother. Then things began to happen very rapidly. Speed Martin, a newspaper reporter, begins to suspect things. Joshua Page, comes into the scene and claims to be Camilla's husband. People begin to claim the girls as their daughters. Things are very complicated and Mrs. Morrison slspccts something wrong and demands an investi- gation. Everything ends perfectly. Vivian wins Stuart from Camilla, Cora finds Speed Martin just too sweet, Camilla wins Alex Lawton, and Sadie Stringer walks off with the prize, UJoshua Pageu whom she recognizes as her lang lost Claudius.
