SOPHOMORE ACTIVITIES QClnss advisor--Miss Bergman, Aa school began tho sophomores were well represented by u class of fourteen. The first activity was a class meeting held for the purpose of electing the following class officers: President........ ..........Estalene Dye Vice President... ...Richard Griffith Sec. and Trees... ...........Pat Greer Class Reporter...........Rosemond Chandler The sophomores initiated the seven freshmen et a Weiner roast on September 18. The freshm.n girls wore their dresses wrong side out and carried e mail order catalog. The boys not only wore overshoes, but also rolled their nent legs above the knees. Both the boys and the girls had their faces smeared with lip stick. On November 5 the sophomores and their guests enjoyed a party at the home of Rosrmond Chandler. Games were alayed until refreshments were served by the Heats conmitteen. A farewe ll party for Fairy Belle nd Rolland Michael was held at the school house on November ll. Lembers of the class who are out for declametion are as follows: Estalene Dye, Esther Clerk, and Rosnmond Chandler. Richard Griffith, Howard Shike, Esther Clark, Maxine Van Eaton, and Rosamond Chindler are in the junior play, UTangled Yarn . Estalene Dye was in the senior play, HSmart Boyn.
