“The class officers were as follows: John Thompson, pres- identg Marvin Clark, vice-presldentg secretary end treasurer, Hayso Greerg class reporter, Mary Garland, assistant, Ruth Ricketts, class advisor, Miss Graehling. In November we gresented our Junior oley entitled UThe Nut From Brazllu directed by Miss Clausen. The slay was very suc- cessful and brought in good returns to the class. Ruth Ricketts, Marvin Clark, Chester Gordon, and Mary Gar lend represented the Junior Class in the literary events of the year. J .I On Key Sth, of Ween we entertained Junior-Senior Banquet at Hsweock's cafe in the banquet we attended n movie, HOklahomn This about concluded the activities year of 1958-59. the seniors at our Monmouth, and after Kidn. of the class in the In the fell of 1959 the class came bnck to its last year of school in the old high school. The fourteen members were as follows: John Thompson, Marvin Clark, Boyd Henry, Jack Keilmen, Ruth Ricketts, Mary Garland, Junior Greer, Lawrence Shike, Bob Greer, Hsyse Greer, Chester Gordon, James Unsworth, Glen Blythe and Billie Root. The class officers were Glen Blythe, presldentg Lowrance Shlke, vice presidentg Jock Keilmon, secretary and treasurerg class advisor, Mr. Renwick. During the yesr we were well represented in music and Marvin Clark and Hcry G rland were out for literxry events, We were also well represented in sportsg b1sebsll,bxskethu11, and truck. The varsity squad of the basketball teen which won tht Little Nine Trophy was mostly mode up of senior boys. We had a Christmas party and attended e few roller skating pirties during the year. On November 60th, 1959, the senior class presented their ploy, nSnart Boyn, directed by hiss Clluson. A large crowd at- tended the very successful play, and the class was extremely tsatisfied with the receipts. On Hay 10 we attended the Junior-Senior B1nquet sponsored by tho Junior class. Five boys of the graduating class went the full twelve yosrs of school together. They were Jack Keilmsn, Boyd Henry, Lawrence Shike, The se 'frho John Thompson, and Junior Greer. started school here and didn't finish the four years were Betty Douglas, Virgil Johnson, John Kessinger, Zella Hclntyre, Norma Scott, Dorothy Smith, Martha Kugler, Orin Ricketts, Lyle HCCQU, and Charles LeKey.
