The ‘81’ cross country season proved to be a competitive educational experience and al- lowed for positive social interaction. Stu- dents developed skills in self discipline due to their athletic commitment. The runners closed their season with high spirits and a positive attitude. Gulls Stride For Victory Cross Country The Cross Country season was highly successful this year. The Girls Varsity finished first and sec- ond in eight of twelve meets. J.V. Girls were first in seven of eight meets. Varsity Boys were third out of eight teams at the Tillamook Invi- tational. J.V. Boys won three of their meets.
