Last years annual signing party went very well. Most everyone enjoyed seeing the graduates re- turn to receive their annuals. They also thought signing each other's annuals brought them closer together. Many people liked the pictures that were on sale and hoped pictures would be on sale the next year. The comment given by most peo- ple was they liked the color section in the annual and hoped it would have color again next year. For the most part, everyone enjoyed the annual signing and felt the annual covered everything. 5

SEABREEZE STAFF So little time has passed since an inexperienced group of students began the then awesome task of producing 75 years of contrasts of time grappling with the bleeds and gutters and other such yearbook jargon. We began learning techniques we never knew existed. Things did not always come out as they were originally envisioned. Countless frustrations were confronted at each deadline. Ideas had to be translated and comprised, defined and refined. Our greatest enemy was time; a year is very short. One of our major problems was squeezing Seaside Highs' events into 134 pages. The answer it seemed did not lie in displaying pages of students lined up on bleachers, grinning mechanically into the camera. This does not represent life and spirit of students. Thus, we have attempted to capture the candid concept of people in action the way you see them and know them. We are finished at last. Frosh Initiation Week Freshman Initiation Week went over well this year Many activities were provided lor the incoming frosh. including the traditional singing of the school songs and the scrubbing of the seal. Senior leadership was at peak level by demonstrating positive reinforcement for the new high school students. All in all most frosh felt that wearing shower caps and becoming members of Seaside High School, was not only fun but. some- thing to always be remembered The freshman class sings a traditional song. Freshman gather efforts to form a strong tug-of-war team With Ivory Liquid and 409. the Class of 84 . sets out to make our School Seal shine.
