Erie Odegard Football 1980 If one were to sit back and look at the 1980 football seasons record. 7 losses and 2 wins, he might think it was a bad season. This is not the case. According to the play- ers. much was gamed out of the exper- ience. Steve Toppila. it was a building year, but most of all we were a team and everyone contributed George Whitlock. everyone tried their best Ken Biamont. The season gave me confidence for fu- ture use. my age didn 't matter. I was just part of the team. Randy Gauper. We never gave up. we always went into a game thinking we had a chance no matter what the odds. I think this feeling will carry on to next year Jefl Carow. The season gave me a better self-image and confidence Greg Traweek. I got a lot of self-satisfaction and a real understanding of what a team sport is all about The head coach was Bruce Buzzell. assistant coach Jim Auld Mr Buzzell summed up the season best by saying everyone gave their all.
