JVs record 2m4 season The ’75 JV football season ended with a 2-8 record. This sounds disappointing, but the team played very well, beating Scappoose and Tillamook in the second round. Coach Buzzell said that the Tillamook victory was the best game of the season. Everyone played well. The most yardage was made in the game, three interceptions were made, one leading to a touchdown. A great effort by a greah team. The losses were heartbreaders, usually by only one touchdown. : Troy Oesterblad led the team in the QB spot. David Fish, the team’s best yardagegainer played halfback as idd Robby Turk, the Most Valuable Player. Starting guards were Pat Nolan and Dan Brown. Tackles were Lee Banta and David Como. Lynn Brigham played center. Starting ends were Andy Dueber and Doug Doughty. David Gustafson, a guard, was voted Most Improved Player.
