Tricycles raced around the circle drive, voodoo dolls were tossed on a burning fire, class presidents scrambled in flour for poker chips, and weird costumes could be seen as students and teachers joined in the excitement of Homecoming week, Classes struggled to gain points from activities, but the Seniors captured the victory over the underclassmen and walked away with the Spirit Cup. by placing first in the flour scramble, colorfully out-dressing the underclassmen with unusual costumes, and by decorating Senior Hall and the gym. Seniors gained these points

The Jr. Sr. Prom was a special affair for many who attended, In our happy go lucky ieans and T- shirt lives, the Astoria Country Club provided a set- ting for lace dresses and neck ties.
