Unfaultering early morning and late evening practice before and after school tournaments was accomplish- ed because of a team spirit seldom found in highly individualized sports such as golf, Learning how to pull together and help each other as these boys did is perhaps one of the greatest justifications for pro- moting and maintaining sports as a vital part of high school education, Student body funds procured by spectator sports made it possible for the golfers to play various courses other than their home course of Gearheart. This practice in strategy is a must for any golf team aspiring to outstanding excellence, I have been proud to share in this teams spirit as golf coach the past four years and hope Seaside will continue to support High School sports, hed on WM ws _) number one in baseball = for cowapa league Coach Larry Elliott Dan Skipper Jeff Cook Dave Butler Clark Warner Tom Maltman Chuck Backus Rick Hadeen First Row: Lto R,.
