deutsch klub This was the first year for a German club at S,H.S, All German students were eligible and we had a membership of about 50 students Early inthe year German club took a hike over Tillamook Head, where we spoke nothing but German, Just before Christmas we got together again and made a delicious five- course German Dinner, In the Spring we spent a day in Portland where we went to the zoo in the afternoon, ate dinner at the Rhein- lander (a German Restaurant) , and then went to a movie. The last weekend before school was out we had a going away party at Coffen- bury Lake for Mr. Hayes.
