It provides a forum for student opinion and a training ground that will enable students to take their place as useful citizens in a modern democratic society. Closely paralleling the procedure of the major national parties, the divided groups at SUHS hold a separate convention each Spring to select their candidates for the student body offices, who are then elected by the student body from a secret ballot.
