THE WINDJAMMER THE GHOST OF LANTERN POINT It was durlng the unpredlctable month of March that an old car was slowly makmg lts way along a treach erous country road 1n Mame The ragmg wlnd sent the ram madly splattermg agamst the wmdshleld and lt was almost lmposslble for the dr1ver Doctor Whrtman to see the road He was a tlred man and as hrs car pulled up to the door of thls weather beaten home he thought with rel1ef of the long rest he would have m a few mmutes But hrs Joy was short lxved for no sooner had he entered when hrs telephone started to r1ng H groaned softly plcked up the recelver and sa1d Doctor Whrtman s res1 dence Doctor Wh1tman speakmg A very deep NOICC boomed out Hello Doc Take 1 run over to the house on top of Lantern Pomt Before the doctor could reply there was a cllck of f1nal1ty at the other end There goes my rest thought the doctor wlth dlsgust Why couldnt that fellow hay e called Doctor Hargroy e lnstead of me?
