 Robert Martin Mr. Martin is director of instru- mental music. This is his first year at Searcy High. He attended Tech, where he received his BA. Mr. Martin is doing graduate work at the U of A. Mr. Martin’s wife is Jane and they have one child, Jennifer. The Martin’s live at 120 Cloverdale Boulevard. Martha Faught Mrs. Faught teaches art. She has been at Searcy for eight years. She received the BA from Mur- ray State University and her MA from George Peabody College. Mrs. Faught is the wife of B. D. Faught. They have one son, Bill. The Faughts reside at 1504 Randall Dr. Nona Cheatham Mrs. Cheatham teaches Choral Music in the Searcy School System. She has been teaching for nine years. She is the wife of Charles D. Cheatham and they have three chil- dren, Sunny, Susan, and Karla. The Cheathams live at Rt. No. 1 in McRae. Robert Bloodworth Mr. Bloodworth teaches Drama and Speech. He sponsors Lion- actors, Thespians, and all SHS plays. This is his fourth year at Searcy. He attended ASU and received Ids BSE at SCA. His wife is Beulah, and his daughters are Donna and Debbie. Faye Babb Mrs. Babb teaches American His- tory. She has taught at Searcy for 3 years. She received her Masters degree from SC A. Mrs. Babb is the wife of Tom Babb and they live on Route 3. sSocial tStuclie Bob Maddox Coach Maddox teaches World His- tory and Government, and is assistant football and basketball coach. He has been at Searcy for seven years. He received his MS from SCA. Coach Maddox’s wife is Phyllis and they have 2 daughters, Tess and Tina. Coach Dave Williams Coach Williams is the assistant Football Coach, Head Track Coach and teaches Social Studies. He has been at Searcy High School for two years. His wife, Utanah Sue, and their two children, Kim and Jefferey, reside at 102 South Flla Street in Searcy. Robert Abney Mr. Abney teaches world History and Sponsors the Sophomore class and FTA. He has been at Searcy for 15 years. He received his MS from Hard- ing College. His family consists of Melba, Norma and Keith. They live at 16 Gleenwood. 23

 Phyaical Education Birdie Rogers Coach Rogers teaches Health, World History, and Driver’s Ed. He is head golf and basketball coach and 10th grade football coach. He received his masters at SCA. His wife is Lynne. They have 2 daughters, Lisa and Beth. The Rogers reside at 10 Susan Drive. He has been in Searcy 10 years. Miss Gentry teaches girls Physi- cal Education at SHS. She has been teaching for five years. Miss Gentry sponsors lion- steppers, A and B team cheer- leaders, and Lionettes. She lives at 1914 W. Arch in Searcy. Coach Stolt is head football coach and teaches Physical Educa- tion at Searcy High School. He has been here for two years and spon- sors ‘S’ Club, and FCA. He received his BSE and MSE at ASU. His wife, Bonnie, and their three children, Gene, Mike and Susan live at Rt. 5 in Searcy. Mary Jean Norman Mrs. Norman has been teaching Special Education at Searcy' High School for two years.
