James Stover Coach Stover teaches biology and is the head B-team football coach. He has been at SHS 2 years. He received his BSE from the U. of A. Co ach Stover’s wife is Velva and their children are Bobby, Wayne, and Virginia. The Stovers reside at 1500 W. Arch. John R. Sanders Mr. Sanders has been leaching Chem- istry, Physics and General Science for five years at Searcy and sponsors the Key Club. Mr. Sanders and his wife, Carol, have one son, Richard, and live in the King- wood Add. of Searcy. YYlcitl en citic6 s cience Eloise Scroggins Mis. Scroggins teaches Geo- metry, Algebra, and Advanced Math, and sponsors the National Honor Society. She has been at SHS for 12 years. She attended the U. of A., where she received her BS. She is the wife of E. L. Scrog- gins. Their son is John. The Scrog- gins live at 11 Lynnwood. Carroll W. Bass Mr. Bass has been teaching at Searcy High School for four years. He teaches Geometry, Business Math, General Math II, and Algebra I. He is the co-sponsor of FTA. He resides with his wife, Carolyn, and son Michael off Gun Springs Road in Searcy. Evelyn T. Green Mrs. Green has been teaching for thirty-one years at Searcy High School. She received her MA at the University of Arkansas in Fayette- ville. She lives at 506 W. Pleasure in Searcy and has two children, Rhonda Faye Turner and Mose Edward Turner. 22

Janette Griffin -oreicfn ancfuacfe Diann Hack Mis. Griffin teaches English II and Spanish 1 and II. She has been at Searcy High School for three years and sponsors the Foreign Lan- guage Club. She received her BSE and MA. She and her husband, Gary, live at 312 North Ella Street in Searcy. Mrs. Hack teaches French I and II, and English II. She has been teaching at Searcy High School for six years and is the co-sponsor of the Foreign Language Club. She and her husband, Ed, their son, Lyle, live on Pioneer Road in Searcy. She received her MAT in 1973. 'Education Ann Massey Mrs. Massey teaches typing, Ac- counting, and General Business and sponsors FBLA. She has taught at SHS for 5 years. She received her BA from Ouachita and her MSE from Arkansas State. She is the wife of Jim Massey and their children are Cindy, Andy and Katherine. They live at 5 Susan Drive. Oweta Humphrey Mrs. Humphrey has taught at Searcy High School for twenty-two years. She teaches Typing, Business Lab, and Shorthand. She is also a sponsor for the 10th grade. Mrs. Humphrey received her Masters at the U of A. She resides at 303 W. Center in Searcy.

Mrs. Babb is the wife of Tom Babb and they live on Route 3. sSocial tStuclie Bob Maddox Coach Maddox teaches World His- tory and Government, and is assistant football and basketball coach. He has been at Searcy for seven years. He received his MS from SCA. Coach Maddox’s wife is Phyllis and they have 2 daughters, Tess and Tina. Coach Dave Williams Coach Williams is the assistant Football Coach, Head Track Coach and teaches Social Studies. He has been at Searcy High School for two years. His wife, Utanah Sue, and their two children, Kim and Jefferey, reside at 102 South Flla Street in Searcy. Robert Abney Mr. Abney teaches world History and Sponsors the Sophomore class and FTA. He has been at Searcy for 15 years. He received his MS from Hard- ing College. His family consists of Melba, Norma and Keith. They live at 16 Gleenwood. 23
